Privacy policy

The short version
We store what you give us to make challenges work: your email, name, and the activities you log. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and you can delete your account (and everything in it) yourself, any time, from your profile page.
What we collect
- Account: email address, display name, username, and an optional profile photo.
- Activity data: the workouts you log — activity type, date, distance, duration, elevation, and any screenshot you upload as proof.
- Challenge data: which challenges you join, your goals, progress, streaks, and reactions.
- Usage events: basic product analytics (pages viewed, activities logged) tied to your account, used only to improve the app. No third-party ad trackers, no cookies beyond the one that keeps you signed in.
Who can see what
People in your challenges can see your name, photo, logged activities, and progress — that's the point of a group challenge. People NOT in your challenges can't. Invite links show a limited preview (challenge name, host name, participant count) to whoever holds the link.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Vercel — hosts the app and its server logs.
- Resend — sends sign-in links and the weekly digest email.
- Anthropic— when you upload a workout screenshot, it's sent to Anthropic's Claude API to read the numbers out of it. Screenshots are processed for extraction, not used to train their models.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it. Deleting your account removes your profile, activities, reactions, and any challenges you host, immediately and permanently. Residual copies in database backups age out within 30 days.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, export, or erase your data. Erasure is self-serve (Profile → Delete my account). For anything else — including a copy of your data — reply to any email we've sent you and we'll sort it within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it in the weekly digest. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
